Filming FB Live with Toronto's Mayor John Tory

On Friday, August 5 The Toronto Star hosted a Facebook Live Q&A with Toronto Mayor John Tory. The event was hosted by City Hall reporter Jennifer Pagliaro and moderated by myself and another social media producer. 

The interview was a social media exclusive for The Toronto Star and the first time the mayor had done Facebook Live with a media outlet. Along with pre-promoting the event on social media accounts, I helped produce the broadcast in Tory's office and moderated comments from viewers. 

After the Facebook Live was completed, I filmed a Snapchat video of Tory giving a tour of his office. In one month alone, the video has had a reach of 41,000.
